If you look closely around Comerica Park you may notice the very common theme of a tiles. That's because, the pewabic tile is indigenous to the Detroit area and the stadium designers purposely used it throughout the ballpark as an homage to it's local tile industry. This particular design pillars high outside the club entrance at the side of the stadium.
