Exhibition Stadium was the original home of the Toronto Blue Jays from 1977 to 1989, an open-air ballpark on the shores of Lake Ontario where Canadian baseball got its Major League start. S. The first MLB ballpark to be outside the US borders was the Toronto Blue Jays home ballpark on the Canadian National Exhibition grounds (CNE). The venue served as the home of the Toronto Argonauts for years, so they had to retro fit the ballpark within the confines of a Canadian Football field - which is luckily larger than a US Football field.
